I need some BMX bike help!?

So I need a bmx bike by this weekend and can only spend about $150 on it, but I plan on buying new and better parts about every week or every other week. So should I go to fred meyer or sports authority and buy a bike that'll get me by as I buy parts and upgrade it?
 
i would recomend buying a bike your happy with. ive bought 4 different bikes and when i customize it something usually goes wrong with it.
