These are some phenomenal techno producers / djs, but I would recommend getting into House or Trance or at least some Tech-House before you start listening to Techno. Although if you want to try Techno out anyway, I recommend checking out guys like Jooris Voorn and Gregor Tresher first.
As for House music, if you are just getting into it I would recommend getting into the Progressive House first. Theres a bunch more mainstream guys that have some pretty good gateway music such as Axwell, Dirty South, Gabriel & Dresden, and Eric Prydz. Some personal favorites of progressive are Adam K & Soha, Oliver Moldan, Robbie Rivera, Moguai, DJ DLG, Arno Cost, and Laidback Luke (Not really Prog but still my personal favorite)
Electro House is probably the most popular form of House music right now so theres a ton of trash around. First check out Robbie Rivera, John Dahlback, Wolfgang Gartner, and Thomas Gold then maybe move onto other people like Mark Knight.
Some Techno songs:
Joris Voorn - Incident (Original Mix)
Skylark - Movin (Joris Voorn Rejected Rave Dub)
Robert Babicz - Dark Flower (Joris Vorn Magnolia Mix)
Gregor Tresher - A Thousand Nights (Original Mix)
[House]:
Progressive:
Eric Prydz - Pjanoo (Original Mix) [Probably one of the biggest if not the biggest song of the year]
Cicada - The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix)
Sultan & Ned Shepard - Jeopardy (16 bit Lolitas Remix)
Adam K & Soha - Twilight (Original Mix)
Chris Lake - Carry Me Away feat. Emma Hewitt (Original Mix)
Funkerman - Speed Up (ATFC's 0-60 Extended Mix)
Thomas Gold & Redroche - Love Has Gone Single (Original Mix)
Electro:
Buy Now - Bodycrash (Original Mix) [Probably the most Massive Electro song of the year]
John Dahlback - Late Night Worries (Original Mix)
John Dahlback - Blink (D.O.N.S. & DBN Chainsaw Remix) [If bodycrash is #1, this is a close 2nd]
DJ Niki Belluci - Get Up - (D.O.N.S. & DBN At the Beauty Salon Remix)
Thomas Gold & Dim Chris - Self Control (Original Mix)
Bob Sinclar feat. Steve EdwarRAB - Together (Robbie Rivera Mix) [Bob Sinclair & Steve EdwarRAB are basically as mainstream as house gets. If you have ever heard house music in a club in the US, it's highly likely you have heard a song they do together]
I'll update later with youtube viRAB and maybe some Tech-House or Trance, I need to get back to work
