you ask your boss to give you time for outside exposure or assignment. you need it badly because you are starting to feel stagnation.

My creative well is running dry. I work as a photographer and I feel like I have fallen into a creative pit. I am hoping that someone knows of a website that would help me out. I just need new posing ideas. I am just tired of doing the same ol same ol day in and day out. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Oh, just to let you know. I work for a major company inside a studio. I am limited in what I can do. No outdoor work. Thanks again! I just want to be the best I can possibly be in the job that I have.
ok I am a studio manager of a very well known company. I cannot very well ask for time off. We deal with kids and families. I am great at what I do. But I feel like I am doing the same stuff all the time. I dont want to be another cookie cutter, ya know?

I'll share an exercise that been very good for me, and June 1 would be a great time to begin it. It's simply to simply take one finished picture a day and post it to a web site like Flickr, Photobucket, Smugmug, etc. By "finished," I mean photoshopped or otherwise edited -- a complete effort from start to finish. Don't worry about perfectionism -- just do the best you can each day, then move on.

It's good for your photography because it forces you to shoot in your own environment -- around the house, school, your job, etc. You quickly exhaust all the obvious subjects, and then you have to look and think. In doing that, you discover subjects you hadn't thought of before. Also if you especially like a subject -- or if you think you could do better -- you can go back and shoot it again the next day. It's a kind of visual diary -- try it, and see how long you can keep it up. It's not as easy as it sounds.
