I need major help with Debate!?

Okay, my partner and I are duo beasts!
We're such interpreters, it's ridiculous. We speak our scripts in our sleep.

Now, interesting part: we're doing PuFo....on saturday.
We're preparing our cases, and they should be pretty legit...but any suggestions or tips for first-time debaters? Any valuable information that you can give us?
 
think about your topic in all points of view
see the oppositions thoughts and change it so you can use it against them
be calm and ready your notes

when you hear something they said which you want to use, write it down, don't just presume you will remember it. And also if you are doing rebuttal, prepare your case while your speaker is speaking and only take the major points while you are listening to the other teams case. With your manner, take ownership of the floor. Don't stand right at the back of the room, stand closer to the audience. Make eye contact with everyone, and use facial expressions to convince them that what you are saying is right and what the other team is saying is wrong.
