I need it explained to me how age discrimination laws are fair for young people?

Old people have all the experience, but they can lack the dynamism of youth. Young people have little experience, but can bring new ideas and vitality to a job. Sometimes smaller companies need younger people to take over when the older ones retire. This is fair and the employer can choose which they want.

How does a young person get a job if an older person with experience applies? Age discrimination stacks the deck against younger people.
