I have a 2002 gmc seirra 4.8 v8 half ton truck that is built up on everything from tranny to the rear end but it isnt enough, so i bought a 2000 5.7 vortec motor with only 4000 miles on it aswell as a 4l80 transmisson, it came out of a gmc savanna 3500 van, so i want to put this drive train in my half ton to convert it to a 2500 to tow a big toyhauler with, i also have the older 2500 6 lug rear end im going to put on the truck so it looks factory. i got the rear end to keep the factory look and to tow more weight and handle more payload with. neways the 5.7 only makes 260 horsepower and 330 ft pounds of torque, the motor is fresh e verything so all i want to do with it is build it up to 400 horse power and 400 ft pounds of torque to tow around 12000 pounds. i just cant seem to find a decent cam or rv cam to help me out if three are ne suggestions please let me know
