I need info on valve lifters for honda accord?

I apparently need to change some or all the valve lifters on my honda accord 97. They are about 60 dollars each! Is there anything else I could do about it until I can replace them? Will it affect my engine if i dont for a while? Thank you.
 
Get used ones and only replace the bad ones.

And yeah as long as they have not completely locked up or collapsed you can drive it around and not damage anything. (however it won't run great till you fix them)
