I need info on the authors of the Bible.?

Does anyone know where I can get some info about the authors of the Bible?
I'm trying to explain to my brother that no one knows who wrote the Bible, but I need some sources to help me explain that he is living his life by a fictitious set of stories of whom the authors are unknown.

The bible is the word of God. He spoke through the prophets. God does and will use his people to do his will. That's what the prophets did. God is the word.
