I need idiot-proof directions for how to adjust the idle speed on my 2001

Honda Recon 250 TRX.? I've looked near the idle lever (right thumb) on the handlebars and don't see any obvious screw or adjustable spot. So I suspect I have to go down near the engine, but I get lost easily down there. Where can I make this adjustment? I just need to raise the idle by about 500 rpm. Help!
