I need help writting this essay on the book "Red Palms"?

I was in this group for a book project and at the end of the unit we had to do a project on it. Well i got my share of the work done and i knew i wasnt ganna be there to present it so i gave my work to my group member. later when i was on vacation (the reason i wasnt there) i got a call from my teacher saying that my group had no idea i wasnt ganna be at school... i was pissed but i took my punishment so now i have to write an essay on it for an alternate project. I need to write a 2-3 page essay on What i learned about other areas of the world and how the culture in the book is different from the U.S's. please help if any1 has read the book, or gimmie a website. thnx
