Okay...Please, I'm cereal about this.
I write stories. I've just finished a long story lol, and I just might get it published. MIGHT! I have been writing since i was in 7th grade and back then my stories were really crappy, but this is my best one yet. My readers think so as well. I plan for it to be a series. only problem is, when i began the second it started off really good, like my fingers where flying across the keyboard and i felt the the story was becoming real under my finger tips. Now...whenever i sit down at my desk, i can only write like a paragraph or two. It's so frustrating, I have a couple of scenes in the back of my mind and could already picture them. But, when i write i feel forced and i just feel lazy and what not.It feels like...not me, it's a real lazy version and i hate it! I really REALLY need help guys. Any advise would be awesome. Please be serious.
My first finished story is called Moonlit Path. I think you can already guess what it's about. Vampires. Hehe, I've been infatuated with them since i was little. I grew up watching Dracula and my brother use to read me bit of Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice. So i feel deep for these creatures and yes i have read many, many books about them From Twilight (Guilty pleasure) to House Of Night Series and Blue Bloods. Basically that's all i read, but I've never read Anne Rice's book, idk why, i just haven't.
Any who: About my story. so My main character Raven, get turned and she discovers a super natural ability. Darkness Manipulation and the Elders favor her and want her to become an protector the the vampire race. There are two types of vamps here. The Sane ones and the Crazy ones. so the sane one's are you average human killing ones, while the Crazed ones are insane! Like to the max man! they feed off their own kind and are a HUGE threat to every living thing. SO...that said, she becomes a protector and uses her gift and all that stuff! lol, but if there is any advice for me to break this blockage, basically i need help with writing action scenes and i just NEED to get the second one going, are there any things you guys do to get past this and move on with the story? Oh...and my vamps are not shiny hehe. their stake fleeting demons! Like they were meant to be and they turn to ash when in the sun! muahaha okay. I'm done.
