I need help with transferring mp3 ringtones for K750i!!!!!

After editing the ringtones in the Ericsson MMS Studio and transferring them to my k750, I am only able to open them as templates in Messages....how can i get these transferred so that I would be able to open them in sounds and play as ringtones?..thanks in advance to whoever responds...
 
In order to use a ringtone, it must be locked, if you're with some cellular service providers.

What format is it in?
 
Make sure that the file extension is set to '.mp3'. If it is labeled otherwise, the phone will mistake it to be used in some other way. Also if this is all correct, try transferring a full length un-edited song over and playing it. If it works, it's a problem with the application you're using. If it dosn't, double check the extention on the file is '.mp3'. Also make sure you are placing the files in the right folder on the memory stick / phone ;)
