Gay Rights has been a global issue that many may either oppose or favor.
Or is it weak? My original two were too long and the first one would appear biased.

My first: Gay Rights are an international topic and many do not even feel that Homosexuals should have rights at all. Rights are a power or privilege to which one is justly entitled. We as people only added a extra word in front of the original word Rights. Civil-Rights,Gay-Rights and Animal Rights. Should not all people be allowed to share the protection of the same umbrella we call rights? Or are the politicians and religious figures trying to segregate homosexuals or gays from the rest?
My Second: Gay Rights has been a global issue that many may either oppose or favor. Given that rights are a privilege, being gay and marriage, applying for employment or housing should not be viewed as having to fight for a privilege that is free to all. Rights are what Americans were given when they were born; whether they are homosexual or heterosexual, black or white, rich or poor.
