I need help with the LG Xenon?

I have the LG Xenon and i want to know how to put a Lock on it every time I press lock. Like i have to put the code. I know one of them you have to go to Main Menu then Settings then phone then Security then Phone Lock then choose any one you want. Then the other way is Main Menu then Settings then phone then Screen Lock then choose any one you want but, I want to know is there another way. Please help me.
