I need help with my Gm truck with the 4 wheel drive GM TECH NEED ASP?

its been to the gm service center thay checked it sad it had a short some place and that thay couldn't find it well i decided i would plug the 4 wheel drive up and try it for my self ok well it used to be that nothing worked well i tryed it the other day and it will shift from 2 hi to 4 lo and back bout wont shift from 2hi to 4 hi or from 4 lo to 4 hi i `have no clue why it worked fine 4 months ago with no problem so please help me please
