Okay here's the problem:
The radii of two concentric circles are 15 cm and 7 cm. A diameter AB of the larger circle intersects the smaller circle at C and D. Find two possible values for AC.
I guess you're supposed to get 8 and 22 for the two possible values for AC. But I don't understand how you can get that.
