In a population of beetles, long wings (L) are dominant, and short wings (l) are recessive. Red legs (R) are dominant, and brown legs (b) are recessive. An RL/rl genotype beetle crosses with an rl/rl genotype beetle and produces 1,000 offspring; 400 offspring are RL/rl, 425 are rl/rl, 75 are Rl/rl, and 100 are rL/rl. What is the frequency of recombination within the population?
