okay so we got a paper on obsolescent and obsolete words. i need to know the meaning of these words.. they're old fashioned and we need to write the new word for them. the words i need defined ((or changed)) are in uppercase.
1) he BANGLED away his inheritance through too much JOLLIFICATION.
2) DABBLY weather over a long period of time makes the ground SPOSHY.
3) the sound of that YAFFLE banging his beak on the tree trunk is JANGLESOME.
4) the judge, in his white PERUKE, looked solemn as he sentenced the criminal, who squirmed and looked very CARKED.
5) as i SOODLED through the forest, i saw several PILLYGRUBS crawling up a tree trunk.
6) when i looked up toward the FELL after the rain, i saw some lovely GLINTS through the trees.
7) he is a GORMLESS FIBSTER, and i dont want him as my friend.
8) he didnt need to go to the ORDINARY to get a drink, since he had a bottle stored in his SETTLE.
