i need help with my 09 Suzuki gsx-r 600?

Its a 09 Suzuki GSX-R 600 with 250 miles on it
I noticed something diffrent on my Motorcycle. When im on first gear i rev it and it only go to 20 mph and when i rev it some more the rpm go's higher but wont advance in speed. Then i change it to 2 gear it goes to like 30 mph then it wont go more.and the rpm will go to like 16. and the top speed i got it was like to 56. what could be the problem
 
is it possible your bike is restricted, however its a new bike thats why they have warranties, take it to your local suzuki dealer. hope this helps.
