I need help with creating a flash?

Im trying to create a flash for my camera and i wanted to know if anyone knows any good websites were they explain really well how to make one.
 
I seriously doubt that you can make a strobe unit as cheaply as you can purchase one. You have to have the housing, the oscillator circuitry (very high voltage is required here), the trigger circuitry, and strobe tube reflector. You can purchase the entire thing for 40-100.00...that fits on a hot shoe....there is no way you can make one for this kind of money. Good luck and happy holidays
