I have already committed to a going to a private christian university in the fall. It is the ONLY place I want to go to. I seriously cannot picture myself anywhere else. It's my dream college. However, it is very expensive. Including the scholarship I have gotten, it's going to be about 20,000 a year. Is this normal? I feel overwhelmed. I feel like when I come out of college I'm going to have a huge gigantic loan to pay off (Over 100,000).
I am going to college to become a clinical psychologist. Which is the only thing I want to be and the only thing I can seriously see myself doing. It's my dream job. But the salary is only between 60,000 - 80,000 a year.
My question is, if I have a loan of approx. 100,000 - 125,000 to pay back after college, and am only making between 60,000 - 80,000 a year, can I do this? Is this possible?
I am not super materialistic so I don't expect to be living in a super nice two story house or anything. Just a nice one story.
Am I going to be miserable after college? I feel like I am getting myself into a huge amount of debt and it will be extremely hard to pay it all back.
