Im not sure wich foundation primer to use as there is soooooo many to choose from.
I have olive skin that doesn't really get oily nor dry its just kinda normal... although i due have acne prone skin. Should i use an oil-free primer or am i ok using one with oil in it??
Also can anyone recommend a good primer? i have been told about smashbox photofinsh but i do have mixed emotions about it as i have read some bad reviews.. others i've considered are NARS, Laura Mercier, mirenesse...
im pretty confused lol HELP!

Oil- free.
If oyu have acne prone skin, unless your prepared for a break out and you HAVE to have it, I wouldnt both with face primers cause almost all of them WILL break you out.
Smashbox, NARS, etc. Those are all AMAZING primers, but they'll cause irritation.
Laura Mercier is good.
also BH cosmetics makes a really good one.

But just be careful with primers, For some reason face primer and acne prone skin don't get along too well! =P

You always want to go for oil-free, as they tend to last longer and don't tend to aggravate blemish-prone skin. Try a water & silicone-based primer such as Laura Mercier's Oil-Free Primer which is fantastic. It does everything you could want a primer to do - smooths & evens the skin's texture, holds face products on for a good eight to ten hours and allows said face products to blend much easier onto the skin.

It is quite pricey at $30 but a 1.7oz tube will last you a good few months. It is a staple in my kit.

Sophia.

I use the Kat Von D Lock 'n Load Make-up Setting Mist, and I love that stuff. It makes my makeup last all day. You can get it at Sephora
