So I've been trying to figure out what my teacher is asking & I have some ideas, but I'm not sure I'm right, & I need some reassurance. Here is the problem :
The average person is exposed to 100-300 millirems of radiation per year. Airline crewmembers, however, are exposed to almost twice the average amount of radiation per year. Suggest a possible reason for their increased exposure to radiation.
I'm thinking it's because they are in working around planes most of the time. Can anyone help me?
