Where is the fuse box on a 1996 Acura and can a fuse blown prevent C.D. player from working? Please help thank you!
The C.D. player is ejecting C.D's but it won't come on....could it be that a fuse is blown...and where would the fuse box be? thanks

In this case it would depend on the type of cd player you have. Many will not eject or take the cd if they do not have power. Thus my first thought is that the fuse is probably ok.

I would probably check for loose connections of the wires on the CD as well as the speakers.

Another common problem is dirt build up on the CDs as well as inside the CD Player which prevents it from “seeing” the CD’s. If not overly difficult check the cd sensors for dirt. (use a very soft cotton swab and a small amount of alcohol to clean the sensors if needed)

However for your question while I don’t own an acura if I remember correctly there are two fuse boxes on the acura. One located under the drivers side dash board near the steering column (for lower power items, lights, radio, etc) the other is located near the battery (for the higher power engine items) But don’t take that as 100% accurate it has been a long time since I have looked at an acura so I might be confusing the locations with another car model.

I hope that helps,
