Help! I have got the Fido bb connect plan and am still trying to use it, I went and got the Nokia E61 and am trying to get the connect working but am having trouble. I actually have 2 E61's. One I have upgraded from the Nokia site to the latest firmware 3.03..., I have d'loaded connect and it says installed but it is nowhere to be seen???? According to Fido web site you set it up in the email section, I don't have Blackberry there like they say I should??
When I look at the Nokia d'l site it says that you need version 2.618.06.17 on the phone to use the bb connect version S60PR2(6.28.3)??? I would have thought a newer firmware would work? I have also tried looking for the firmware they recommend (2.618.06.17) but cannot find it anywhere? I have been reading for a few days now trying to find it but ???? The only place I see Nokia FW is on their mobile site and that would get me to the latest version whcih is 3.03.... I don't even know if I find 2.618.... if it would work with the E61? I know some of you have made this work with the phone, ANY help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance. I would love to try using the connect service with my City Fido.
