So I'm typing a paper and I'm in dire need of remembrance. The word is at the tip of my tongue.
What is that word used to describe something that metaphorically represents something else? For example you would say: "That's a very accurate (insert forgotten word here) of..." or something along the lines. I really need to remember this it's bugging me.
