I need help planning my audition for next season's America's Got Talent.?

Okay, so I'm going to be auditioning for America's Got Talent next season as a singer. Now, if you didn't already know, before they let you go on stage, they actually take acts into little rooms to do like pre-auditions. Now, the song that I want to audition with is Cherry Pie by Warrant. My original choice was Over My Head by The Fray. But I was thinking that if I were to audition with Over My Head and make it through, it could be a step down to do Cherry Pie my next performance. I'm confident in my ability to perform each song. Here's my problem though. In the small audition room, they make you sing acapella, no mic, no music. Now, Cherry Pie doesn't sound too good acapella. Over My Head does. I'm not sure if I went into the little room and did Cherry Pie if they would let me up on stage. I'm sure if I did Over My Head they would let me on stage, but I'm not sure if I used Cherry Pie. So what should I do? Should I go ahead and save Over My Head, and go into the small room and do Cherry Pie acapella, and hope they let me on stage, or just go with Over My Head, and if I make it to the next round, just try to find something else?
