I am a college freshmen male at USC and I am currently a double major in Business and Economics. I have begun to immerse myself into the business world and realized that it is not where I want to be. I have a strong interest in psychology and dealing with people. I have never considered medicine but I don't want to go into surgery or just general medicine. I have thought about psychology because I love to study people and I have also considered pediatrics because I love to work with kids. I am very confused about what route to take and what career to pursue. I have so many interests but I want to choose a career that will give me a professional distinction and also a very good salary that is guaranteed. One of the main reasons I left business because it is too risky and doesn't fit in with my long term goals and aspirations. I know that I may be jumping into this very quickly but is it not possible that something you have always liked (business) doesnt fit with what you want to do? I have also considered double majoring in Biology and Business and try to get into a joint MD/MBA program. I need some guidance because I love both fields but I cant seem to find my niche. Advice???
