Ok I have a blackberry pearl and I found out that I cant send or receive mms txting because I need a data plan but I have Unlimited txting. It dont make sense. Anyways I want a LG Shine and I am gonna buy an unlocked one. When I put my sim card in there will I be able to send mms txting now?
 
You have to have at least pay per use data provisioned. With a BlackBerry device, only data access through the RIM servers is active by default. Once a BlackBerry device or PDA is officially on your line, you cannot manually change devices or data plans through OLAM. You have to do it through a call to Customer Service. They check to make sure that you are not still using the BlackBerry device before they make the change to data.
 
i love the lg shine i had one and it worked great...and i was able to send mms messages although i think i did have a data plan as well as unlimited texting
