I need help on configuring my unlocked LG phone to the T-mobile network?

So I bought a unlocked LG CU500 phone and I am using it with my T-mobile pay-by-the-minute card. On the original t-mobile phone, I was able to access T-zones for free. I want to access T-zones on my LG, and tried changing my settings according to this website: http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/1151293-1.html
but it's not really working. Can anyone help? Thanks
