I need help installing an aftermarket radio in my 97 ford explorer eddie bauer!?

I have been going back and forth with this for awhile. For my understanding, there is a stock amplifier in the back right of the truck. I guess this is creating alot of problems with the wiring of the sterio. Is there any easy way to do this? I was reading about using this adapter http://www.antonline.com/p_OEA4-GA_273005.htm?gclid=CObFkIXS8J4CFRh15QodME8igw but i dont understand how u would install that and get an antennae wire for the new sterio. Any suggestions on an easy and cheap way to do this? Thank you
