I moved to a new home and these are planted in my garden. I think they are verbena, but I can't seem to find a match to the color, size and leaf shape online. The groundcover itself is about 12" high at its tallest, the flowers are 1" across (each tiny flower in the ring is about 1/4"), and the leaves are about 1" long. You can judge the size by the photo of the flower and leaves held in my fingers. Can anyone help me? Also, I have a 2-year-old and small pets. Is this plant toxic? If you know the full name and color it would be great; the butterflys love them and I'd like to plant more if I can. Thanks.
