I need help. I have a Gateway 840 GM Pc with Windows Media Center.?

I have a Gateway 840 GM Media Center PC.

I tried to do a recovery to get it back in factory shipped condition but when I run the recover it says that it has a problem extracting certain files.

I don't have my recovery CD and my warranty ran out.

What can I do?
