battery dead? the truck is parked in the garage with an overhead storage unit over the hood so i cant open the hood without backing up first. my problem is that the battery is dead so it will not start to let me shift neutral or reverse.is there any way to get it to shift backward so that i can change the battery without the truck being started? i've turned the key in all positions and stepped on the brake but it still will not shift.
