I've been wanting to join a gym now for quite a long while but, simply put... I don't know where to begin.
I'm 18 years old and most of my teenage life I've hovered around 210-240 lbs
I currently weigh 230 and am about 6 feet tall.
I'm not COMPLETELY out of shape, I mean I can run a fair distance & climbing things is one of the few joys in life for me.
Areas of interest for me to work on would be the man-boobs (obviously) and this ridiculous gut I have going on.
So what I'm basically asking for are a few tips for someone who has never been to a fitness gym to actually work out. I don't just want to get there and start lifting weights and bench pressing without knowing what I'm doing.. That could be dangerous and/or counterproductive.
So, help?
