I am a college student and this summer I need to get a car. I go to college in Pennsylvania and live in New York and after this winter at college I really need something with 4 wheel drive. However the cars (SUVs) that have 4 wheel drive don't get great gas mileage. Is there a compromise of a car that gets good MPG's while also is safe with 4 wheel drive at a decent price (for a college kid). I like Jeeps but they don't get the greatest of gas mileage. Hope you guys can help!
