hello, im 18 and live in the borough of Queens, Ny. Im having second thoughts about my career choice. Im going to be a freshman St Johns University and my current major in Biology.... I planned ongoing to college and getting a undergrad in bio and then going to Dental school afterwards. However that just seems like soo much work and 8 years is a really long time. if i followed through with this plan i wouldnt be able to get a job i think becuase id be so occupied with school work an di dont think i would have much free time. I want to change my major to something where i wouldnt be spending 8 years of my life chasing after becoming a dentist. I want something that requires less time and where ill be able to find a job as im out of college. and of course it has to be a well paying career. as for my personality and intellect, i went to martin van buren high school an dgraduated 83 out of 500 some odd kids. i took ap literature and took honor classes. im very weak at math however. i did great in history and global studies and english. i graduated with an advanced regents diploma. I took physics, chem, bio, and earth science and found them all challengeing but quite enjoyable tto some extent. i hope someone out there can give me some guidance cause right now im pretty lost. thank you for any suggestions or help in advance.
