I am a one time author and I am working on three books at once (Don't ever do that, it can confuse you).
Right now I am rewriting a 215 page book I wrote last year called 'Casus Belli'.
There are three small books in one. The whole is about this one man that goes through different time periods (Medieval, 2010, and 2022) and how he influences the main characters in each time period.
The first short book is about 31 pages long and it introduces the man. It's about friendship, betrayal, and death.
The second short book is about abuse and drugs. The young teenagers soon to be stepdad sells drugs. The man introduced in the first short book is the history teacher for the main character (in this short story).
The third short story is about the future (since it's 2010 now, not 2022) and how the government needs recruits for a war so they recruit young woman and men (younger than 18). Most of them is sent as soldiers...slaves. (If you know what I mean D
. The man is an old friend of the main character in this one. The man helps his old friend get his daughter back (who is introduced in book two as a four year old at the doctor's office) from the government.
Well...what I am asking is that I need four titles. Three for the short books and one for the whole novel.
My first names were: Casus Belli (That which causes war), Prima Facie ('At first sight'- First book), Disiecta Membre ('Scattered Remains'- Second book), Inter Nos ('Between Ourselves'-Third Book).
Should I use those titles or change them?
