I opened the hood to put windshield wiper fluid in. I shut the hood and thought everything was fine. When I got out of the car and locked the doors, it didn't beep (normally i press lock once and the doors lock, hit it again and it beeps). That's when I realized the hood was still about an inch open. My first thought was that something was caught, causing it not to close all the way. After searching to make sure I closed the wiper fluid cap I didn't find anything. I didn't touch anything else under the hood besides the metal rod to hold the hood up. Are Honda Civics different then other car hoods? Is there something else I need to do to make it close all the way?
I need help closing the hood on my Honda Civic, its not latching properly.?
