Hello,
I am trying to change the spark plugs on my 95 toyota tercel and I can't seem to get the boot off the cylinder head. I am talking about the thing that the coil pack sits on. I got the coil pack off but the boot seems to be stuck and if I pull on it too hard, I am afraid I might rip it since it's rubber. Also last year I had a spark plug blow out on me and the electrode broke off in the cylinder and also the spark plug damage the threads on the head that the spark plug is supposed to screw onto. So the mechanic installed a helicoil (i think that's what it is called), my question is, when I pull the old spark plug out, is it going to effect the helicoil in anyway and also is there any trick to pulling out the boot from the head? Thanks for your help.
