I got 3 questions to ask so bare with me.

1. I have an old 1.0 Ghz Gateway Motherboard and processor that has a bad battery for the bios so I am wondering if I can somehow edit or update the Bios so it don't ask me to set the time every time I start it up? before you answer yes I did change the battery with a working battery and it still don't work.
I also have a A-Open AK-73 Motherboard with a 1.2 Ghz processor but it keeps freezing after it runs for 30 to 45 minutes when I use windows XP and that is the OS I plan to use so is there any way for me to stop it from freezing in XP? Yes it freezes even with the system drivers installed.

So my first question is What Motherboard Should I use and how do I fix the problem with that Motherboard.

2. I was also wondering if I could have a shut down button set to a generic USB gamepad on XP because I want this as close to a real arcade cabinet as possible and I don't want a keyboard or mouse getting in the way of that

3.Does anyone know where I can find plans to build a 2 player upright MAME arcade cabinet that uses a 16 inch computer monitor?

I am putting this into Computers and Networking because it has more computer related questions then video gaming questions.
