I need help about my relashionship, opinions please :)?

well ive known this boy for quite awhile, at first we had no intentions of going out or anything i don't think. I started to like him like loads and so did he back and then he asked me out. Yeah i said yes.. but im not sure if his age is a problem. Hes 17 and 18 on the 4th of July and im 14.. some people seem to think this is wrong, im not sure if it's because they think were going to be having sexual relations or not.. but we spoke about this and he's willing to wait till im old enough.. i really like him.. but people don't seem to understand that.. i just want peoples opinions on this.. i don't mind what you have to say :) x
to be honest everyone seems to have different views on this, like the law and stuff.. we will work through it :)
 
I dont think their is anything wrong with that...
as long as both of you are okay wit it and that you know hes not only their to try to get in your pants...
because most older guys get with young girls to get at them... i know from experience... but thats just the way it is..

i think its a good think you both like eachother , dont care what other people say or think because their is always someone going to try to break you guys up... trust.. even your own friend will try..
