I am 19yearold female.
I worked durring the time period of January-June 2008, as a server/waiters. After that I did quite, because I need to go back to Europe ASAP because of a family sick member.
I go to college with FASFAS's help and ever since I came back ( September, 2008) I was applying at the local restaurants with not luck, I don't want to go back to my old work because they don't give you the tips. I have money to pay my next rent and no more . . . I don't know what to do
Am I eligible from some financial help from the state? I've read that you must worked more than 700hours ( I did not I worked part-time) and you must be laid off and I am not I quited my self. WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO PLEASE HELP
