My name is Ashley Campbell and I am writing to ask you to appeal my suspension of financial aid. Let me start off by saying I take complete responsibility for my grades and absence. The first fall semester I was there it was very stressful because I was pregnant which was my own fault but I knew I could do it, my family and I had faith in myself that I can do it. Both of my fall semesters and summer semester it was hard on me being there on time and everyday because me and my mom only had one car so she worked from 6am – 2pm and it was hard on her because she worked and paid bills and helped me. Also, by me growing up in a family that puts family right after god it was hard for me to not take care of mom and go to school.
Then I made a choice for myself to take care the family and now I've learned that I can do both with my son going to his sitters house. I do realized that I neglected my studies and I would really like another chance to do better at them. I have put together a list of steps that I need to take in order to be successful in school:
1.I will sign up for a tutor for classes that I find difficult by being familiar with tutors on the campus.
2.I will manage my time so I can balance my family and studies together.
3.I will attend all of my classes and learn to become successful at life.
4.I'm going to talk with my instructor, so if they feel that I'm failing I can set up a meeting with a tutor.
My goal in life is to become an Psychologist so that if there are girls in the position that was in then I can let them know its okay to try because trying never hurts. This means a lot to me because I don't want girls or guys making the same mistake I did, not saying my son is a mistake. But, I can only do this if I can apply for financial aid. I am hard-working student and parent, and I would like this chance to show my son that I never stop trying no matter what not just because I'm young or anything. I want to be a role model to my family and peers not a failure.

Please take this letter into consideration and give me another chance to prove my dedication and hard work.
