I need examples fro history that support this:

Throughout history, a pattern of the conflict between rulers to be feared or respected was debated. In earlier establishments, the feared rulers were more successful, while as time went on, civilizations with respected dictators had more success due to the change in requirements to keep people satisfied with their government.

the nazi government and their rebellion in germany. probably the communist russian government as well.

i'd talk about Communist Russia.

when Czar Nicholas II ruled during WWI, the government was weak and corrupt. The Bolsheviks rose in power with Vladimir Lenin as their leader and imprisoned and later executed him, making sure he was for sure, the last czar of Russia.

The Bolsheviks became the Communist Party and restored order in USSR (changed name).
