so i was told my belts need to be replaced. which i will when i get a second and they aren't closed. today when i was driving to work. my temp gage kept going up. mostly when i was driving slowly. so i had to have the heat on all day. would my belts have anything to do with that?? any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! Thanks!
 
Yep, one of the belts probably runs the water pump, which moves water around the engine which cools it. Get those taken care of ASAP.
