and i just finished the mortal instruments trilogy and loved it. anything like that would be great too...but please PLEASE no twilight

weelll, i read a few sarah dessen, but i liek these because they take a turn from Dessen but are alike.

Crank - smart girl leading avrage life gets into drugs
Glass (sequel) - girl stillis with drugs, is kicked out of house, and with her baby.

burned - normall mormon girl is sent to live with her aunt J on their farm. falls in love. this is more like sarah dessen, because (Dessen normally doesnt write about drugs and sexlol) but its more liek her cause shes falls in love. its just her abusive father that makes it liek Ellen hopkins. if that makes sense

impulse - the POV switches between three characters all in a 'crazy house' one for attempt suicide, one for attempt suicide with drugs abuse, and one with somewhat attempt suicide by cuttiing


i love these books.
