I need big help fixing up a bike?

My boyfriend slipped in the mud and dropped his bike and snapped the foot peg off. I want to know how much those are? Do most places carry them or is it an order in part. I have 3 bike places around me. Its a Yamaha YZR 600. The peg snapped right at the bike. The clutch on the handle bars is also bent weird but I think other wise its ok. He has so much going on in this life and I think this would make him happier. Plus its going to be 80 today...and 75--80 all weekend.

* I'm a stupid girl when it comes to most thing so I will be checking this question if things need explained better.
the peg that snapped off is on the clutch side if I didn't make that clear.
He was trying to move it so it wouldn't fall over since we got so much rain. He can ride! He was wearing sandals late at night with no light in a hurry and it fell over.
 
sounds to me he can't ride, if you love him you won't buy him any parts so he can't ride his bike, cause if he can't ride he's more likely to kill himself on it
