i am aggravated because i keep trying pedals and none are what i want, i want a high gain pedal.
right now i have an mxr full bore metal distortion pedal, and i have tried the digiteck tl2 pedal and they are leaving me majorly dissapointed. they are more of a fizzy high gain distortion, that focuses on the upper mids and cuts out the lower mids.
i want a pedal that puts out more lower mids like the kind that makes you think of a speaker blowing, or an amp catching fire. that kinda "rectifies". more of a grinding distortion than a fizzy distortion.
like on my mxr pedal when i turn the mids up its the higher mids so it sounds nasaly and pretty disgusting. in a bad way. i hate it.
if anybody actually understands what im talking about can you please help me.
im not lookin to spend any more that 500 to get my perfect sound. so please dont say to go out and get a dual / triple rectifier guitar head.
