...being fair to myself? well recently a bunch of employees (those on the bottom end of the totum poll) got our hours recently cut. It was very bad timing for me, because my son's father and I just split. Now I have double the bills, I need to get a roommate, and all, but it was just bad timming. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I'm fully ready for the lights and phone to be cut off, and to be getting an eviction notice. Very stressful
anyways I know that it's just business but at the same time, some employees are questioning their reasoning for it. They have people flying in from here and there, and the higher ups are spending money on things that are well not conservative.
I was supposed to go full time after the first of the year, and well I'm questioning why should I give them a commitment if they are unwilling to give me a commitment? I have been looking for a second job, and what if they ask me increase my hours? do I say I'm sorry but I had to get stable work, so I am only available....
I'm just confused so why should I give them my loyalty, if they cannot be loyal to me? they do not value my time, or care about my familiy, yet I think they should,
so What is a professional attitude to take on? I don't want them to think everytime they want to pinch a penny, they can cut my hours back, but at the same time I want to be reasonable too.
